Star Wars Empire - Good Guys or Bad Guys
This project began as a single idea, celebrate the fandom of Star Wars. A gift for an amazing young man, this quilt was a labor of love. Striking colors, geometric quilting in grey, and an amazing border of triangles that creates so much movement. Take a look, maybe the force will be with you….

Close up of the top 2\3rds of the quilt.

Adding the interior sashing. The red and white should look like lights on a control panel.

All the blocks are done and have their sashing... Now to add the red sashing and sew them into rows.

Step 1 of the 4 at a time flying geese method. These will become an interior boarder.

Another step in creating geese. I think I made 96 of them.

Ironing the geese.

It's a flying geese. Red sky with black and white polka a dots.

The interior red sashing is done and the blocks are sewn into order. Now I'm adding the flying geese boarder.

The top is done, now for some trimming then onto the longarm for quilting.
